ABOUT VIP TO GOD
I have been struggling with mental health related issues for a while. As a kid, I survived suicidal thoughts and many fatal circumstances. I, therefore feel like God keeps me for a reason hence the name Very Important Person to God (VIP TO GOD). However, am still using K-Bonnie because the K-Bonnie character has always been part of my music journey.

ABOUT THE ALBUM
"When The Black Sheep Becomes Elephant In The Room" is K-Bonnie's 6th album and VIP TO GOD's debut. The album is a prelude and a soundtrack to my book which is yet to be published. I have written 90 percent of the book and I am currently negotiating with potential publishers to publish and market the book. Both the album and book's themes are centered on my personal struggle with mental health, journey to becoming a journalist and a rapper as well as sociopolitical issues in Malawi and the world at large. The beats were produced by Justus, Eric Most, Venom and Self Defense. It was recorded by Sub Zero and mixed and mastered by S.A.M.U.E.L.

ABOUT THE SONGS
The album has 10 songs. The "Intro", and "Hand of God" tackles mental health. I am rapping about alcohol, substance, drug and sex addiction as well as the effects of depression and loneliness. In "Cry Babies", "Trust and Betrayal" and "What's trending, What's up", I am addressing political issues ranging from worldwide political riots to 2019 Malawi elections. In "Rap Like Me", " Its Hip Hop", "Another World" and "Lately", I am simply rapping about Hip Hop culture and music. The song "Am from Africa" discusses the beauty of Africa continent. I also share how I got robbed by Zimbabweans in South Africa.

The album has no features because I believe there was no song that needed another artist. I feel features should be done with a reason. There should be chemistry between artists. If an artist wants to feature me, its OK. But, I personally don't do features for the sake of just doing features. For the most part, that's what I believe in.

BRIEF MUSIC BACKGROUND
Born in Lumbadzi Township in Lilongwe, the capital city of Malawi, Harold Kapindu better known by his stage name K-Bonnie or VIP TO GOD is a Malawian socially conscious Hip Hop artist and Journalist.

It produced hit songs such as “Hip Hop” feat Dare Devilz and “More than 30 years”.

Between 2007 and 2008, K-Bonnie took a musical break on his solo career when he was working for Star Radio as a DeeJay. In 2008, Maximum Sentence released its first mixtape titled ‘Hidden Faces’. When The Black Sheep Becomes Elephant In The Room Album Lyrics

Album Tracklist

Intro

Some things we never talk about. Some things rappers never rap about. Maids touching babies, maids harassing babies, then we react on YouTube videos, yet never have time for our babies coz we too busy hustling, too busy partying. We never pay attention to what the children are saying. Mental health is real. Kids bottle up feelings, u hurt them it takes time to heal. They grow up being depressed, thats why depression is killing us. All this drinking, smoking, sex becomes an addiction, and then u turn around and say we useless. After some time, comes a turning point and that's when the black sheep becomes elephant in the room.
